War Memorial

The Captured Weapon Gallery

Truth stands undefeated in the face of denial. This gallery exposes the deception—laying bare the undeniable proof of Pakistan’s direct involvement in the Kargil War. Among the most striking exhibits is a 12.7mm heavy machine gun, seized at Point 5140 by the valiant Captain Vikram Batra, Param Vir Chakra, of 13 Jammu & Kashmir Rifles. Also displayed are weapons, communication sets, heavy mortar shells & splinters, 120mm mortars, and 82mm mortars, all seized from enemy positions across Kargil’s peaks. Pakistan has long denied its hand in the war, but the diary of a Pakistan Army officer, soldier identity cards, pay books, and Pakistani currency notes—all recovered from enemy camps—stand as irrefutable evidence, speaking the truth that history will never erase.
